Here is just a sample of some of the many activities we are involved in:
We often volunteered with the city of Sammamish. This time we were painting the curbs in Beaver Lake Park. We like to keep our city beautiful!
We have adopted a stretch of Beaver Lake Drive in Sammamish as part of the city's "Adopt-a-Road" program to keep our roads clean. Hats gloves and bags are still a women's tradition!
Monthly we clean the Working Wadrobe facility located at the YWCA in Redmond. This program provides interview-appropriate clothing to low income women looking to get back into the workforce.
We regulary volunteer at the Northwest Harvest warehouse in Kent. Sometimes sorting, sometimes packing, but whatever our assignment if feels good to be helping out the hungry in our state.
